Original: A man who barricaded himself inside a trailer in Danvers following a shooting on Monday afternoon, Feb. 5, has been arrested, authorities announced. 

The man, whose name has not been released, locked himself inside the trailer at 98 Newbury St. just after 1 p.m. and refused to come out, State Police tweeted. Authorities believed he was armed. 

A woman was wounded in the shooting. Paramedics rushed her to an area hospital, but police have not released an update on her condition. 

Troopers shut down Route 1 as they dealt with the situation, and the highway remains closed as they investigate the scene. 

Authorities did not say when they expected to reopen the highway.
